Benjamin Cantrill
Director of Sport, PE Teacher
Ben graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BA (Hons) in Secondary Physical Education, Sport and Dance, including Qualified Teacher Status. Ben began working in a state school in Oswestry, Shropshire for three years, before relocating to Kuwait in 2009. He continues to develop his passion for PE and Sport through professional development and research, so he can continue on his educational and leadership journey. In Kuwait, Ben worked as a PE teacher and a Head of House, before taking up the role Head of Whole School PE at a school in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The next post in his educational journey was as Head of Faculty PE (Whole School) in Bangkok, Thailand, before relocating to his current position as PE Teacher, Head of Year 9 and Head of of Houses at Dulwich College, Suzhou. In his spare time Ben really enjoys exploring Suzhou, learning Mandarin and taking time to prepare home cooked meals.
