Ben Wills
Drama Teacher
Ben was awarded his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Victoria University of Wellington in 2004, with a double major in English Literature and Theatre. After completing his Graduate Diploma in Teaching he worked at state schools in Auckland for three years, before leaving his home country of New Zealand to teach in Japan in 2009. Since this move abroad he has worked for schools in Abu Dhabi, Cambodia, China, Japan, and Vietnam. Ben has held a variety of positions during this time, including working as a primary generalist; as a high school teacher of English language and literature, drama, media, and theory of knowledge; and in leadership roles including being a subject leader, a deputy principal, and an IB coordinator. He has spent the last six years predominantly teaching drama at schools in China and Vietnam before he joined Dulwich College Suzhou. In his spare time Ben enjoys reading, travelling, yoga, and outdoor activities such as hiking and diving.
