Glory left the sunny island of Singapore for the Middle Kingdom in 1996, to embark on a journey to learn more about the rich culture and history of China. After more than 20 years, she is still amazed by its people and the wisdom of this ancient civilization. 

The experience of teaching in various international schools has given Glory unique insights into Third Culture Kids and the value of an international education. In 2005, she was named “Model Worker” in the SIP for her charity initiative in Suzhou. She was also awarded the title of “My Favourite Foreign Teacher” along with 11 others in the Jiangsu Province in 2013.

Glory has been with Dulwich Suzhou since 2008 and holds a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology. She has taught a range of subjects from Year 2-7 and has been the Head of Technology in the Junior School since 2011. Glory is an Apple Distinguished Educator who believes that technology has the potential to transform learning and equip learners with 21st Century skills to be creative and innovative leaders. Since August 2018, Glory has taken on a new role as the Assistant Head of Junior School. 

Glory has a keen interest in languages and is a qualified translator for English and Chinese. When Glory is not exploring new apps for her iPad, she can be found cuddling her two dogs and trying out new restaurants in Suzhou.
