Term 2 started on 4 January this year and we are delighted to see our children back. It has been a challenging time and the fact that we started this term on a hybrid model requests a lot of support from our families. We would like to say a big thank you to all of our parents, students as well as staff – thank you for being supportive, collaborative and resilient.

Please see below lovely moments during this week.

Here are the photos about the first day of Back to School.

The Mock exams for Year 11 and Year 13 students provide a valuable learning experience for them, and this will support them in being able to perform to the best of their abilities during the final exams later this year. We wish our students good luck with their exams.

"It has been wonderful to see so many of the student community return to the school this week, and we can’t wait to welcome the other students back in due course. Particularly noteworthy, however, are the Year 11 and 13 students who have displayed such incredible resilience and maturity as they navigate not only the new waters of the COVID policy changes, but they also sit their mock exams, a significant milestone in any exam journey. The whole community has really come together to ensure that the mocks can go ahead in a safe fashion so that the students can get this valuable experience in preparation for their finals in May. I would like to wish the best of luck to the Year 11 and 13 students, and I can’t wait to share your successes over these next few weeks."

- Dr Mark Jones, Head of Senior School

"Our Mock Exams for Year 11 and Year 13 commenced this week and we are grateful to the school community for helping to make this happen. Our Year 11 and 13 students have been preparing hard for these Mock Exams, so the flexibility and support from parents and staff to help ensure the school opened this Term as planned has meant their hard work has not been in vain. The students have also taken the recent events in their stride and focused on what they can control, their preparation for the Mock Exams. We all wish them the best of luck in the coming weeks."

- Mr Damian Gray, Deputy Head (Academic) of Senior School

"Preparing for and running a Mock exam session takes a great amount of commitment and diligence from our teaching staff. I would like to thank every subject teacher for creating valid and reliable Mock exams for our students. I would like to acknowledge the Heads of Faculty for pulling everything together and cross-checking all the exams we use as part of our quality assurance process. Last but certainly not least, I would like to highlight the hard work of all staff for invigilating the Mock exams, with special recognition for Mr Pettit, who arranged the invigilation schedule for the entire two weeks. It was great to see so many of our students back in school this week, ready to put their best foot forward in the Mock exams. I know many have faced challenging circumstances over the past few weeks, and I admire their resilience and commitment to their education.''
