Sophie Yoon, Head of Year 7
Korean Teacher
Sophie is a Korean New Zealander. She graduated with BA (Japanese and Economics) and a PG Diploma in secondary teaching from the University of Auckland. She speaks English, Korean and Japanese fluently and has a thorough understanding of both European and Asian culture as a third culture person. Sophie has been teaching IBDP Korean A Literature in China for four years at Shanghai Singapore International School along with EAL English. She was the Head of Discipline at Senior School in Shanghai and New Zealand before she joined Dulwich College Suzhou. She enjoys yoga, Pilates, golf, indoor rock climbing and travelling with her friends. She is also learning Chinese in her free time.
