DUCKS EAL Teacher
Judy was born in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. When she was about 2 years old, her family moved to Lianyungang, a port city in Jiangsu, where Judy grew up.
When she graduated from the university, Judy got the diploma ofInternational Trade and Economics and the diploma of English. Later, Judy achieved the B.A. in English from Beijing Foreign Studies University. In 2016, Judy completed her Master course and earned the degree of Mater of Education from Framingham State University.
Judy’s first job was the secretary of a real estate company. One year later, she had a part-time job, teaching English in a local Chinese high school. She then worked on the cruise ship as an English teacher and provided English training for the Chinese waitresses. During this period, Judy had worked in South Korea and Hong Kong. After she finished her last contract on the ship, Judy worked in Xiamen International School as an admin staff, taking different job roles, such as principle secretary, school transportation coordinator, oversea text purchasing coordinator, and so on. In 2007 when Judy joined DCSZ, the new school just opened. At first, she worked as a TA in Reception, Toddler and Year 2. And then she was appointed to the position of the Head of DUCKS TAs, supporting the children’s learning in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and ELL classroom. Meanwhile, she helped with the training of TAs’ professional learning in DUCKS. In this August, Judy received the certificate of DCIQT – the Dulwich College International Qualified Teacher Status. She is now an ELL teacher in the DUCKS ELL department.
Judy does her job with full of passion. She enjoys working with the children all the time. In her spare time, Judy likes working out in the gym with her friends. Besides, learning belly dance is one of her favorite things. Judy also loves cleaning her apartment to make it a cozy place.
