Vision 2020 Shining through TEDx Youth Event

International school suzhou vision 2020 shining through TEDx youth event

On Saturday 19th September Dulwich College Suzhou held its inaugural TEDx event themed “Vision 2020”. The event brought together students, staff and visitors from other schools with 12 speakers including one visiting from Beijing.

The talks tackled such diverse issues as “The Importance of thrift”, “How many times can you fold a piece of paper”, “The hypocrisy of the modern day feminism movement” and “What music means to me, and hope it means to you”. There really was a Ted talk to suit everyone!

More importantly, the event was student led and organised by our Head Girl at Senior School Maria A, along with her executive team of Sisie H, Dasom K and Yewon L as well as a group of amazing volunteers! The students have spent months planning and organising this fantastic event, liaising with the Friends of Dulwich (FoD) who kindly supported their efforts. Please let us share the joy and inspiration with our students, and the baton is now ready to be passed to our year 12 student ambassadors.
