Model United Nations Conference

On Saturday 15th May, nine students from the College attended the Model United Nations conference at Suzhou Singapore International School.

The theme of the conference was ‘clarity in chaos’ and considered a wide range of national and local impacts of COVID-19 around the globe, with students debating feasible solutions for economic and social recovery while protecting the natural world.

During the conference, Vivian (Year 12) proved to be a calm and capable president of the general assembly, while Ryan (Year 12) who was representing the United States of America was heavily involved in responding to actions by various global alliances in the crisis committee.

There were also strong debate performances from Year 12 students Anna, Mondo, Shijia, Ethan and Lele, as well as Year 9 students, Sophia and Minji.

Well done to the students for taking part!
