Junior School Parent Engagement

What a delight to see so many of our parents in school during this term’s Parent Engagement Day, learning more about our curriculum and ways in which you can support your child’s learning at home.

A range of subject were covered over the course of the morning including the role of sustainability in education, how to use the library to support inquiry, service learning and an introduction to the use of Seesaw for curriculum and communication in Junior School.  In the afternoon sessions, parents were guided through formative assessment, reading support in the home and given an introduction to the hugely successful Model United Nations programme which the school has been running this academic year.

It was also wonderful to be able to welcome lots of our Year 2 parents as part of transition - we can’t wait for your children to join us soon. Thank you to everyone for your active participation and engaging questions. A great day of information and sharing, enjoyed by all.
