Virtual performance launching: The Wizard of Oz

Waking on Monday morning to the announcement that we would not be returning to campus was a significant blow to all Arts departments in the College. While we are able to continue delivering our academic curricular in an online format, it is our thriving CCA provision that all teachers are desperate to recommence. Despite this setback, it was inspiring to see our Senior School Production cast and musicians overcome these barriers and deliver a virtual performance from this year’s production of The Wizard of Oz.

A huge amount of collaboration and innovation went into the production of this item, namely Julie X from our student media team and Emma D, our brilliantly talented Art prefect. Thank you to all students involved, you continue to surprise me and your teachers with your talent and character. Regardless of our situation, we will still work tirelessly to deliver a robust and resilient education in the Arts for our students and I hope the community enjoys this display of our students’ hard work.

We hope you enjoy this amazing virtual performance from our students, and we look forward to seeing you at the show in June!
