Dulwich Voices:What makes a school thrive? | Episode 3

When we take the time to listen, truly listen, to their stories and values, we find reflections of ourselves too.
This month, we sat down with three families—each from a different corner of the world (China-Korea, Singapore, and New Zealand)—to hear firsthand how their unique cultural perspectives shape their experiences at the school.

In Episode 3, we hear from a family with roots in both China and Korea.

These extracurricular activities also have to be done. After all, many of them are included in the grades, and naturally, an atmosphere of having to participate is formed. It is precisely because the school has such an atmosphere that children can break away from simple study and achieve more comprehensive growth in comprehensive fields such as sports and art. This is very good.

What's your favorite subject?

My CCA favorite subjects are gymnastics, orchestra and mathematics, because they all use my mind to work a lot.

Which campus activities do you participate in?

What I play is drum, so I'm in the orchestra. Each time when I sit down on the table or on the drum, I think about "Boom chick boom chick".

At Dulwich College, the entire curriculum is taught in English. Coupled with many foreign classmates and parents, an international, atmosphere has been formed. So, in this way, I think children can be in a state of expressing English naturally.
