DCSZ Proudly Hosting World Scholar's Cup Regional Round

Mr David Cairns, Deputy Head of Junior School (Academics)

We are excited to announce that Dulwich College Suzhou will be hosting the Suzhou Round of the World Scholar's Cup on 18~19 May. This prestigious competition holds great significance for us, considering our achievements last year, which included our students amassing over 300 combined medals and trophies, as well as success at The Global Round and The Tournament of Champions at Yale University.

The World Scholar's Cup offers a unique learning experience for our students. It goes beyond the regular curriculum, covering diverse subjects such as science, literature, history, and art. Participants develop a love for learning and curiosity in exploring various topics.

Collaboration is a key aspect of the competition. Students work in teams of three, engaging in activities like the Scholar's Bowl, which enhances their knowledge and fosters communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Participating in the World Scholar's Cup connects our students with a global community of learners. They interact with peers from different countries, exchanging ideas and building friendships that transcend borders. This exposure cultivates a sense of global citizenship.

We extend our gratitude to our students, staff, families, and ASDAN China for their support. Their efforts have made hosting the Suzhou Round possible. We encourage our students to embrace this opportunity to challenge themselves, expand their knowledge, and showcase their talents. The World Scholar's Cup will contribute to their personal growth and academic journey at Dulwich College Suzhou.

We extend a warm welcome to all participants and wish everyone the best of luck. Let us celebrate the joy of learning, the spirit of inquiry, and the power of knowledge.

Dulwich College Suzhou, together with the World Scholar's Cup, is committed to nurturing the next generation of global scholars and leaders.
