DCSZ Panel Discussion: Future Leaders
As part of Dulwich College Suzhou’s Wellbeing Series, this new panel discussion will focus on how we can help our children build confidence, courage and resilience through leadership activities.
How can we help our children build confidence and find courage within themselves? How can we support them remain calm and resilient in challenging moments? Our interactive panel discussion will explore practical tips on how we can give the best possible chance for our children to build these essential wellbeing skills.
PANELISTS
Mr David Massiah, Head of College
Subject: Developing Emotional & Subject Mastery through Service Leadership
Mr Massiah will discuss how students who take the opportunity to engaging in service leadership activities develop not only key skills including social awareness, confidence, resilience, purpose and self-drive. He will also explore how service leadership allows students to apply their learning at a deeper level attaining greater academic mastery through leadership projects.
Mr D’arcy Lunn, Group Head of Sustainability and Global Citizenship
Subject: Developing skills through Sustainability Leadership
Mr Lunn will discuss how your child can make a net positive impact through sustainable and regenerative leadership and share how students from the EiM Ignite programme benefit from pushing themselves out of their comfort zone and learning through sport and adventure.
Ms Georgina Gray, Head of Junior School
Subject: Positive parenting for teenagers
We all know that parenting a teenager can be challenging! Ms Gray will share insights developed from the Positive Parenting Framework that helps build stronger parent-child relationships, explores emotions, develop positive habits, create boundaries and empower your child to create their own pathway to success.

Subject: A student perspective on leadership
Senior School and Junior School students from Dulwich College Suzhou will share first-hand experience of how they found the courage to lead and share ideas on how we can support young people as they develop essential skills for the future.
