Isabel Huntley
Spanish Teacher, Head of Language Acquisition
Isabel is from El Salvador, but left her country 16 years ago to start teaching internationally. She loves to travel and enjoys discovering different cultures. This is her second time in China, having taught Spanish in Beijing at Dulwich College for 8 years. In 2014 Isabel moved to Uganda and in 2016 joined UWCSEA in Singapore where she continued teaching Spanish. 6 years later Isabel moved with her husband (who teaches Geography) to Dulwich Suzhou.She has a long teaching experience in International Schools. Isabel graduated as a teacher in 1993 and started working in The British School of El Salvador (ABC) where she was the Head of Spanish. Isabel has taught Spanish at IBDP first language, language B and ab initio. She is an IBDP examiner in Language B.
She enjoys reading and walking, and also travelling to discover new things in the host country. Isabel has two children who both live in the UK.
