Congratulations to our Counselling Team!
Mr Hyuk Sang Son, Director of Counselling at Dulwich College Suzhou, for being named the recipient of the 2024 Counselling Mentor of the Year Award for Asia.
Mr Son has provided invaluable support to the Dulwich family in the field of counselling. Within the EiM(Education in Motion) family, all school counselling staff collaborate, supporting each other and sharing information. Mr Son consistently assists counsellors worldwide in understanding how to engage with Korean communities and university.
He is also an active member of the International ACAC(International Association for College Admission Counselling), a platform where counselling professionals from around the globe exchange information and support one another. His network extends internationally, and he has made significant contributions to the profession worldwide. In the upcoming months, he will be traveling to Jeju, Korea to participate in the International ACAC conference, further disseminating his ideas and insights within the counselling field.
Our Counselling Team regularly organizes events focused on university application support. We also provide tailored parent sessions to accommodate various language needs, including offerings in Korean and Mandarin languages. At Dulwich College Suzhou, we are committed to helping students identify universities that represent the Best-fit for their aspirations. Our graduates pursue their dreams to some of the world’s top universities, continuing their journey towards their Worldwise journey.

Hyuk is the first counsellor in East Asia to receive the award. He was selected by a jury of his peers, who represented the most globally diverse jury in the history of the Annual IC3 Awards, consisting of educators from 9 countries across 6 continents. Recipients shine a light on the great work of counsellors around the world. University Fair
At the same time, we are excited to share another thrilling piece of news! On 17 October, we will be hosting an international university fair at DCSZ. At Dulwich College Suzhou, we aim for our students to explore more chances and nurture their passions through enriching activities. We are committed to helping our students discover colleges and universities that align with their future goals and aspirations.
