I am delighted to be joining Dulwich College Suzhou for the 2017-2018 academic school year.
I grew up in a village called Radyr, Wales - which has a famous connection as the famous author Roald Dahl once lived there!
My first degree was a BSc. (Hons) in Environmental Biology and one of my first jobs was to work on an island nature reserve of Special Scientific Interest called Flat Holm in the UK.
I have lived in China from 2006 (Shanghai) where I completed my Msc in Information and Library Studies and also worked as the Head Librarian of the British International School Shanghai.
After a brief return to the UK in 2012, I returned to Suzhou in 2014 where I have since lived. I love the international environment that thrives here, particularly the friendships you make, the support the community offers and understanding of what it is like to bring up a family in this environment.
It is very exciting to be able to work at such a prestigious school as Dulwich and look forward to my time in Year 3 and also in the position of Head of Sustainability for Junior School.
