Peter Roberts

Head of Years 12 & 13

Peter is from a beautiful seaside town in South West Wales called Tenby. Peter'™s passion in sport and in particular football afforded him the privilege of fulfilling his childhood dreams into early adulthood, where he was accepted onto a scholarship at a professional football club. Having been unfortunate with injury early in his playing career however, Peter decided to take his love of sport into education. He graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Sport Development and Physical Education. He then spent an additional year undertaking a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, qualifying him as a teacher of Physical Education.

Peter was fortunate enough to return to Wales to begin his teaching career and within a year was offered a position in his hometown school, Greenhill Secondary School, Tenby. Peter enjoyed creating and coordinating many new initiatives within the school and the wider educational community and spearheaded his department into becoming one of the leading sports departments in the country.

Within The College Peter is Head of Senior School Physical Education and Head of Years 12 and 13. Peter sees himself as very privileged to play such a key role in the development of our students and is very excited at the prospect of facilitating and challenging our students to greater successes this year.
