Dulwich College Suzhou opened in 2007 and is recognised as a leading international school in the city, just 30 minutes from Shanghai. Our college is a co-educational day school for students from age 2 to 18 and also offers full time and flexible boarding for students over 15 years old. We are academically selective and follows an enhanced British curriculum adapted for the needs of our international student body. Our academic curriculum is complemented by over 60 co-curricular programmes spread through every term. Our primary teaching language is English, with a dual language approach in Mandarin and English in the early years (ages 2 to 7). To ensure our students will thrive, we assess the level of English of non-native speakers before an admissions decision is made. Our Mandarin programme is streamed and caters to all abilities.
At the Senior School level, students in Years 10 and 11 follow the IGCSE curriculum and the IB Diploma Programme in Years 12 and 13. Every year our academic excellence shines through the international education sector in the region. Earlier this year, our 2020 graduates have achieved an amazing IB average score of 38.1, with 100% of pass rate and one full score in Theory of Knowledge. Among 33 of the IB graduates, 16 of them have completed bilingual diploma, and 14 have achieved 40 plus points. The highest overall score is 45. Now those graduates have embarked their new journey to the globally ranked universities such as University of Cambridge, Wellesley College, Cornell University, University of Toronto and University of Sydney, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, KAIST (Korea) as well as prestigious specialty programs like Rhode Island School of Design.
Please note that students and at least one parent must hold a foreign passport in order to enroll at our school. If you have any questions please contact us at: [email protected]
We look forward of seeing you on 5 December at our College.
