Congratulations to our Year 13 graduates who had their graduation ceremony and dinner on Friday last week.  Please click below to enjoy the highlights.

The Graduation Ceremony was also broadcast live, and any students and their families who could not be on campus had the opportunity to watch the event. The first photo below is from David G - his grandmother was delighted to see the ceremony live from Australia. The second photo shows our Year 4 students watching the event live in their classrooms.

Our Year 13 students have undertaken enormous challenges this year. However, they have made outstanding achievements in their university offer acceptances, music, sports and other learning experiences. The College is truly proud of them. Here are a few examples of their achievements:

· A total of 101 acceptances & offers were obtained from 6 countries and regions: US, UK, Canada, HK, Korea, and Australia; World renowned universities include University of Cambridge, G5 universities in the UK, Cornell University, McGill University, Wellesley College, Yonsei University, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and many others. 

·  Among all of the university offers, 5 are in the field of Biochemistry, 9 in Medicine and Medical related studies, 4 in Criminology and 4 are in Forensic Science. 

·  Gordon T has been unconditionally offered a place to study Music at the world famous Royal Northern College of Music as well as The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This academic year, Gordon attained Distinction (99%) in his ABRSM Clarinet Diploma. As well as regularly performing with the Suzhou Youth Symphony Orchestra, Gordon was chosen by the International Schools Choral Music Society committee to be their 1st Clarinetist for their Symphony Orchestra.  

·  Mandarin study is essential for Dulwich College Suzhou. Students in Year 13 this year have done well in this area. In particular, students such as Crystal L and Jeffery H who will obtain their bilingual IB certificates in Chinese and English. An outstanding achievement.

 

Well done to our Year 13 graduates. Thank you for being part of the Dulwich College Suzhou Family. Whilst many of you will be saying goodbye to old friends and continuing your learning journey beyond Suzhou, the good news is that this is just beginning of your connection to our global community. We welcome all of our former students to join the Worldwise Alumni Network when they turn 18.
