This week, Dulwich College Suzhou returned for Spring break to Book Week – A Journey through Time.
One of the events students have enjoyed thus far has included Simultaneous Story Time. In this activity, the whole school read the book “I am a Story” by Dan Yaccarino on Tuesday morning. Thoughtful conversations and lessons ensued linked to the text, exploring the idea of “Story” through time.
In both Junior School and DUCKS, students have also enjoyed Treasure Hunts throughout the library. Students were able to learn more about collections in our school library and how to use its resources as a result of this activity.
Also, our Junior School students have been volunteering their time to read to DUCKS students in the Junior School library over lunch break.
Extreme Reading has been highly successful with our winners to be announced in the coming days.

At Dulwich, we utilise the resources from our libraries all the time throughout the whole curriculum including transitions between different schools. We love reading!
