'I am delighted to share some highlights from our recent IGCSE and IB subject options information evening. This event is a pivotal moment for students as they begin to tailor their academic paths for the coming years.
The evening featured clear guidance on the subject choice process, eligibility requirements, and alignment with future goals. To bring the learning to life, we set up interactive subject booths where teachers broke down curriculum content, assessment methods, and real-world applications. Each stall offered practical FAQs and guidance on balancing breadth and depth of study, showing families how the College's resources support students in making informed choices.
A standout aspect was the involvement of student representatives, who led discussions, answered questions, and shared personal tips on selecting subjects aligned with their interests and strengths. Their peer-led insights helped demystify the process and created a welcoming, collaborative environment for students and families.
We were thrilled to see parents and students engage actively—exploring options, noting key recommendations, and planning next steps with confidence.
