Finding Nemo & Recycled Wonderland:A Stage Spectacle
Last week, we proudly presented our Primary Junior School production of Finding Nemo Kids! This incredible performance showcased not only our students' talent but also the power of teamwork, creativity, and perseverance. Today, we hear from Director Merrill and Production Art CCA Teacher Connie Turner, who played key roles in bringing this magical production to life.

Last week, we had the pleasure of presenting our Primary Junior School production of Finding Nemo Kids! This performance beautifully illustrated the essence of teamwork and the belief that, with the help of our friends, anything is possible. It was a joy to witness our young actors collaborate, challenge themselves to try new things, and support one another as their confidence grew.
With a cast of nearly 100 students, we truly came together as a community, building and strengthening connections throughout the Junior School. It was wonderful to see our students make new friends and create memories that will last a lifetime.

The Production Art CCA students have been on quite the creative adventure since the start of term 1, diving into sculpting, molding, spraying, painting, drawing, and building the set for Finding Nemo. Our mission? To recycle, reuse, and reduce while having a splash of fun!

We crafted two fabulous coral reefs entirely from recycled treasures scavenged around the school—delivery boxes, coffee filters, water bottles, bubble wrap, styrofoam packaging, and even plastic waste. Who knew trash could look so good?
From the dedicated actors to the talented artists behind the scenes, Finding Nemo Kids truly brought our community together. We can’t wait for the next adventure on stage!
