Dulwich Voices:What makes a school thrive? | Episode 2

When we take the time to listen, truly listen, to their stories and values, we find reflections of ourselves too.
This month, we sat down with three families—each from a different corner of the world (China-Korea, Singapore, and New Zealand)—to hear firsthand how their unique cultural perspectives shape their experiences at the school.

In Episode 2, we hear from a Singapore family.

Why choose Dulwich College Suzhou?

When visiting the school, I happened to see many students, each of them had a smiling face. I thought they are studying in a very happy environment.

Dulwich College has an excellent academic performance. Every year, there are outstanding and excellent students. Their IB results are all very good and they have been admitted to very good schools.

What kind of support does the school offer you?

And I believe the constant interactions with me showed how Dulwich teachers really care about students especially new students like me.

Which campus activities do you participate in?

I believe being a part of the student council and being a representative of student voice is one of my greatest achievements yet. I think that as student voice, we act as a connection between students and teachers, and therefore we can gather the ideas and supply their demand.
